High 1X RPM vibration is a good indication of unbalance. High 1X RPM vibration will also manifest itself as gross misalignment. At VIS we never take it for granted that other problems such as bad bearings or faulty machine parts can contribute to a high 1X RPM.

So, how do we know what it is we are looking at?

VIS will analyze the machine first- properly determine any faults – recommend corrections and then if unbalance remains, we will then balance. Follow-up analysis we be performed to determine final machine condition.
